MY ARTISTIC JOURNEY
ORIGINS
Peggy Langlotz's creative inclination was nurtured from a young age in her native Thuringia. Fascinated by drawing since childhood, she developed a particular affinity for figurative works. The world of colors, a pronounced sense of design, and an acute observational ability have been consistent themes throughout her life. These creative roots and her profound connection to nature continue to be the wellspring of her inspiration to this day.
ARTISTIC DEVELOPMENT
Following a successful career in the private sector, Peggy returned to her artistic roots in 2013. She began with abstract and experimental works, as well as portraits, employing media such as acrylics, charcoal, and pastels.
From 2020 to 2022, Peggy completed an intensive course of study at the prestigious Milan Art Institute in the United States, which marked a significant milestone in her artistic career. Here, she not only refined her techniques and style but also discovered her predilection for oil painting. Today, she combines this with mixed media techniques.
STYLE AND TECHNIQUE
Peggy's current painting style can be described as realistic with subtle abstract elements. Her artworks are often based on detailed preliminary sketches in charcoal and graphite - a reminiscence of her early passion for drawing.
Characteristic features of her works include:
Harmonious colour combinations
Profundity and emotionality
Expression of femininity and elegance
The ability to touch the senses and soul of the viewer.
INSPIRATION AND STUDIO
Inspired by her connection to nature, her love for animals, as well as travels, dreams, and reflections on life itself, Peggy creates unique visual worlds. In her light-flooded studio in Hesse, surrounded by nature, she produces handcrafted artworks full of attention to detail.
VISION AND FUTURE
Peggy's vision extends beyond individual creation. Her future plans include a collaborative studio or gallery - a place for creative exchange where artistic expression is explored and celebrated. A space that uplifts the soul and fosters creativity.
